What We Offer

Daily Drop in Yoga
Are you visiting Bali? Away from the hustle and bustle of busy classes in Ubud and located in Pejeng is our private rooftop yoga shala where we host drop-in yoga classes. Unlike busy yoga studios in town, our shala is literally on the roof of a villa and has class sizes under ten participants, allowing you to connect closely with our teachers and other students in the space.

Alcohol - Free Retreats
Our shala is located right next to a four star hotel (literally a 1 minute walk!) and we partner with them to offer accommodation during five night retreats. We specialize in alcohol free retreats for women, and have upcoming dates for these retreats which you can join us here in Bali.

200 Hour and 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings
We offer three week 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings (which is the foundational level YTT) and three week 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings (this includes a 100 hour module ahead of time online). The 300 Hour is the advanced training.

Our Story & Our Lead Yoga Teacher Trainer, Alexandra McRobert (500 Hr E-RYT)
Hi! I am Alexandra, and I am the Lead Teacher at Mindful Bali. I have been teaching yoga since 2014 and living in Bali, Indonesia since 2021. Originally from Canada, I dreamed of following a career in yoga, but I didn't see how it would be financially possible. I got a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education in university, and immediately started teaching right after I graduated in the Middle East at International Private Schools.
I can only describe the feeling I had when I came to Bali for the first time as a feeling of coming home. That was in 2017. I then dreamed about the move to Bali for a long time. It was only when I quit drinking alcohol in 2019 that I was able to really start to focus my energy towards moving in the direction of working in yoga full time and moving towards Bali. In just two years I built up my online yoga community, The Mindful Life Practice, enough so that I could sustainably quit my job and move to Bali - and start running retreats and yoga teacher trainings here. Eventually I was able to build my own yoga shala, Mindful Bali, in my home in Pejeng. Now I live here full time, teaching regular classes and hosting events. I would love to meet you - either for a retreat, a training, or just dropping in for a class!
